Residential Facade Improvement Program
Program Goal and Description
The Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation will be introducing a Residential Façade Improvement Program to assist home owners in making essential repairs to their homes. The pilot program will focus on eligible properties in the 45206 zipcode. The program will offer a five-year forgivable loan of up to $25,000 to make repairs such as: storm shutters, exterior painting, roof repair, masonry, windows, doors, awnings, lighting, eaves, gutters, etc. The program will focus attention toward lower-income households and foster equity to benefit long-term home and property owners. A program and design committee will be created to evaluate applicants and award projects whose design will have a positive impact on the Walnut Hills community.
Letter of Interest
Below is a fillable form for a program Letter of Interest. This form indicates that, if funding is secured through a grant award process, the signing individual would be interested and willing to apply for a residential facade improvement grant. This letter is not binding, and does not serve as a "place in line" for the grant application. Further vetting will be required before an applicant is awarded a facade grant. This is simply a letter of interest.
If you cannot fill this form out online and would like a paper copy to fill out and return, please email Joe Sandmann at joe@walnuthillsrf.org, or call 513.593.9473. Letters must be received no later than 2/24/17 before 5pm.
