We have been awarded a Duke Energy Urban Revitalization Grant to help our efforts around food access and economic development!  

"Urban Revitalization catalyst grants given to projects that will reduce blight and building vacancies, create jobs, and increase business retention/expansion and workforce training opportunities...Program aims to spur additional economic development activities in the community...Duke Energy has issued $1.88 million in grants to 58 projects in Ohio and Kentucky since the redevelopment program launched in 2011"

Have you walked down East McMillan lately? Tucked between the Dr. Dillard building and the Yvette Simpson headquarters, the "Comfort Station" building is undergoing renovations and rehabilitation to restore the building for future use! More project updates to follow as the building makes headway.
