WHRF is working with Milhaus to create Poste, a mixed use development at 739 E. McMillan. Poste is comprised of three buildings and includes 124 residential units and 4,400 sqft of commercial space. The unit mix includes 18 studios, 73 one-bedrooms, 28 two-bedrooms, and 5 townhomes. 10% of units are available for residents at 80-120% AMI

The Walnut Hills Area Council (WHAC), Walnut Hills Business Group (WHBG), and WHRF wrote a joint letter of support for this project in April 2017. The project is now complete.

WHRF and Milhaus started working on Poste Phase II in 2019. Poste II is a 62-unit residential development. The unit mix includes 6 studios, 32 one-bedrooms, and 24 two-bedrooms. 10% of units are available for residents at 80-120% AMI. Newly added as part of this project (included in the 10% mentioned previously) are two (2) units in the Poste Community for residents at 60% or below AMI. This development does not include any commercial space, but 4,000 sqft on the ground floor is reserved for resident amenities, like a workout room.

In November of 2019, WHAC voted to support the Poste Phase II tax abatement. Find our October 2019 community presentation here and our November 2019 presentation here. WHRF and Milhaus presented again at WHAC in February and April for zoning approvals (March meeting cancelled due to COVID-19). Please find that presentation here. Two focus groups were held in May to discuss changes to parking and building exterior. Milhaus returned to WHAC Planning & Development Committee in September to present the changes.
