Paramount Square

Paramount Square

The Paramount Building at 900 McMIllan Street was purchased by the WHRF in October 2015. The iconic building was originally developed by the Wurlitzer family and housed office, retail and a theater which operated for three decades before it closed in the 1960s and was replaced by a pharmacy. For decades the remaining building has sat vacant at the intersection of McMillan and Gilbert.

The Paramount building is one part of a larger development effort called Paramount Square. The total project consists of six historic buildings and four non-historic buildings. We are working with The Model Group to redevelop the historic properties into market-rate apartments, commercial/retail space and office space. When complete, the project will include 22 apartment units 24,000 square feet of retail, and 12,000 square feet of office space.
