REACH update

REACH in Walnut Hills

The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority is bringing their successful Rehab Across Cincinnati & Hamilton County (REACH) program to Walnut Hills! The REACH Program is a holistic, neighborhood residential redevelopment program that takes an inclusive approach to development that includes partnering with neighborhood institutions, community leaders, local government, police, and private developers.

By the end of 2016, three (out of six) new homes will sit on Morgan Street in the neighborhood's Southwest Quadrant; less than a five minute walk from Fireside Pizza, Five Points, and Gomez Salsa's new location. The Port will also begin rehabbing existing homes on the street before the end of the year.

The custom built modular homes will be delivered the week of November 20th. Once delivered, a few weeks of site work will take place before the ribbon cutting around Christmas. Stay tuned for an event announcement to welcome the new homes and for ribbon cutting once they are complete!
